Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah - June 2012

Our trip to Bryce Canyon National Park

(I am 26 weeks pregnant by the way, not just gaining a lot of weight for no reason!)

Cedar Breaks National Monument, Utah - June 2012

We decided to take a little break from remodeling our house and go to Cedar Breaks National Monument!  Cedar Breaks is near Bryce Canyon National Park in southern Utah.

We went with my brother Bill, sister-in-law Nikki, and their 4 kids.

This is what Cedar Breaks National Monument looks like. Pretty huh?

We did some hiking around the rim (me = 26 weeks pregnant!)

Again this is me slowly attempting one of our hikes through a more green and forested area.

We had a blast and stayed in a beautiful hotel in Brian Head Utah - which was about a 2 minute drive outside Cedar Breaks.

 Awww...such a cute couple!

Bathroom Remodel - Spring 2012

Yay!! We finally remodeled our upstairs bathroom after over 6 years of living in this house! It desperately needed it.  Steve did the remodel all by himself but it took a few months because he could only work on it after work and on the weekends. Here are the pictures. Enjoy!

Before
(pretty hideous huh?!)

 During
(Steve hard at work!)

 After
(much better, right?!!)

Nova Scotia Canada - Fall 2011

Stephen and I took a trip in October 2011 to Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Maine, Massachusetts, and Washington D.C.

Nova Scotia was the first stop on this 2 week road trip...

There were lighthouses everywhere!  This was one of many that we stopped to take pictures of.

Stephen and Melanie looking out over the Bay of Fundy (highest tide change in the world).

We ate lunch at a small family owned restaurant overlooking this side of the Bay of Fundy (Stephen had clam chowder of course and I had yummy carrot ginger soup!). It was higher tide when we started lunch and by the time we were done, the water had receded back a long ways out.
It was amazing!

We didn't get very many pictures of the Bay of Fundy at low tide, but it was pretty cool!  The boats were strapped to the sides of the docks and the water was no where to be seen for a long ways away.

More pictures to come of the rest of our east coast Canada/US fall 2011 trip!
